Easter Baskets for Adults – Part 2 !

Hope everyone had a nice Easter! Last week I posted here about making some Easter Baskets for Adults – putting them together ended up being a lot more fun than I thought it would be! Thursday night I made these pouches out of canvas with left over scraps and thought they would be cute to fill with some Easter goodies –

For Mr. P I went with a basket I had at home, figured he wouldn’t appreciate a canvas pouch as much as the girls! Here is what I ended up doing for him & for my sister and cousin who were with us Sunday!

Hope everyone has a good week – is it Friday yet ?!

Easter Baskets for Adults!

As you will learn, I am a total last minute gal. I am usually pretty organized but somehow time just gets away from me. That being said – I have decided 3 days before Easter I am going to try to make some adult Easter baskets for my husband, sister and cousin who I will be with this weekend! These aren’t going to be anything crazy, and I definitely don’t want to break the bank! Aside from the standard Easter candy here is what I am thinking! Some good gifts for guys and gals – books, dvd, gift cards, lottery tickets, socks etc. !

For Him –

– Candy

–  Beer Soap

– Deck of Playing Cards

For Her –

– Candy

– OPI Nail Polish

– Chapstick/Lip Gloss

– Monogrammed notepad – Check out these cute ones from Dots of Happiness !

– Handmade 9″x7″ Pouch

– Candles

These are just a few idea’s to start – I’ve included some links as well as some products available at Target where I will be going! I’ll share the final product in a few days!

Happy Thursday!

First Blog! A Housewarming Gift

Welcome to Corner52! As my first blog post I thought it would be fitting to do a little housewarming gift tutorial as a Welcome to this blog! I’ve seen quite a few variations of this on Pinterest, but wanted to put my own little twist on it. A few weeks ago my sister-in-law moved up to NY with her boyfriend to live in Fort Drum so this being their first apartment together it seemed fitting to put together a bucket of goods that you sometimes don’t remember you need! I was lucky enough to find most of these items at my local Marshall’s and Ocean State Job Lot. This is a great gift for someones first home or apartment, and you won’t be breaking your budget! Included in the bucket (also from Ocean State) –

– Magnet Clips, Paper Straws, Cupcake Liners, Bamboo Cutting Board, Small Kitchen Knife, Candle and a Set of 2 Dish Towels.

There are plenty of other great items that could be included, I was going with my last minute (oops!) options in front of me!

Hope you enjoyed the first post from Corner52!
